“Never forget your roots […] The longer I stay in Hollywood, the more I need that advice so I don’t become too self-absorbed!” Kristin Chenoweth - Good Housekeeping April 05
Who is your best friend?
“My little dog, Madeline. She’s a maltese. Before I got her, I used to see dog people who were so obsessed, and I’d think, Oh that’s so sad. But now, her I am, talking about her all the time.” Kristin Chenoweth - Good Housekeeping April 2005
“I like to dress her up in little outfits; I’m just madly in love with her.” Kristin Chenoweth
“I wanted to create a character that people think they know — the stereotype of the dumb blonde, the self-centered girl — and then have her turn out to be altogether different. It’s something I relate to in my own life. Because I’m petite and have long blonde hair and a very high speaking voice, there are people who seem surprised that I actually have a brain and a master’s degree. I wanted to play the dumb blonde to the hilt, but I also wanted to make her a little sassy and reveal her heart as the show goes on. I was interested in doing the show more for the acting than the singing. I love the singing, but it’s a great acting piece.” Kristin Chenoweth on Glinda
”[…] Our Christmas is so Southern it could make you want to vomit. But we have the best time. We eat too much. We laugh. We play games. Somebody gets sick. Somebody gets hurt. It’s dysfunctional, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. You know, we don’t pick our family. We get one. So I’m happy and I’m the dork that gets depressed when it’s over.” Kristin Chenoweth
“You guys are all great, but Kristin is one of my favorites” Audience member
…
“I’m pretty sure by just showing the director that, I’m definitely going to be in more shows.” Kristin Chenoweth
You know what I haven’t had enough of on my Tumblr?
Cheno.
I am continually amazed by this woman. Canceling Pushing Daisies was a travesty.
“I feel sexiest when _____”?
“When I’m just in jeans and a T-shirt and a ponytail. I love hair and makeup and all that stuff, but I like to put on mascara, lip gloss, and a T-shirt.” Kristin Chenoweth
“I am a sucker for _____”?
“A man in a suit. I love to see a man in a nice suit, like Armani.” Kristin Chenoweth
Is a one-night stand ever worth the risk?
“No. I’ve never had one. I don’t think I could. I put too much into it. I have to be in love.” Kristin Chenoweth

“That’s why Wicked took such a toll on me physically because it was so difficult. It’s hard to be funny, and it’s also hard to be dramatic at the end …” Kristin Chenoweth on doing comedy
“I never really understood what bittersweet meant until that night. I have to tell you, the ensemble of that show, especially, we were like family. They always say that, but we went through a lot of stuff this group. And, I just miss them. I miss them so much. I knew I was going to miss them, and it was just going to be incredibly difficult. I miss doing the part; the actual role is so fun. It’s so much work, but it’s so rewarding. The final night was hard, but because I’m moving on to other things, I kind of just think about it with a smile in my heart. I’d love to actually go back some time. They talk about doing a movie.” Kristin Chenoweth on her last night in Wicked
“I like Idina so much that it’s hard for me to be mean to her, I have to put my feelings aside. But when the curtain comes down after she’s flown at the end of the first act, and she’s stuck up in the air waiting to come down, she’s all alone. So I always wait for her and touch her just so she knows we’re in this together.” Kristin Chenoweth
